Vivek Mohan has been appointed as Chairman of Alcatel-Lucent's services activities. An IT graduate from the University of California, who also has an MBA from Harvard, he joined Lucent after founding two start-ups in the United States and India. At Lucent he was involved in the restructuring of the optical network business in the United States. Until today he was in charge of the group's services activity in India.
