His name is at the top of the short list drawn up by the headhunter Brigitte Lemercier to replace Gilles Michel.

According to WanSquare's information, today Jérôme Gallot, the head of CDC Entreprises, is in pole position to succeed Gilles Michel in charge of the Strategic Investment Fund, particularly since he is already a member of the FSI's executive committee. As a fifty year old graduate of the National College of Administration (ENA) and Sciences-Po, and a member of the Cour des Comptes, the applicant does not really have industrial experience, apart from a directorship at Schneider Electric.

However, his candidacy appears to have unanimous support, unlike that of Thierry Moulonguet, the former financial director of Renault, who has been actively lobbying, or that of Jean-Marc Espalioux, Accor's former boss, who is currently Permira's senior adviser.
